Society raise child

it's sadden with this our generation that's full of myopic people everywhere. When coming up as a child our society was well mannered with so much to look forward to in terms of respect, tradition, values and sociatal norms. in my time as a child, I was grown-up in a society where child will see evil and say this's evil , let me not do it. my time was full of mannered and culture inhabitants. simple fact was that,  when we where out on the street and we happen to do evil or disrespect elders, we will be dealt by our society before our complain reaches our homes. the saddest thing is that when our complain reaches home, the punishment will double. thoes days everyone trains you, that's  what I call society raise children. In the other hand, this present generation has found itself in a confused state.  The simple fact is, you will see children misbehaving in public and when society takes action by correct the mistakes of that child, that is when you would see all ...

What does the 2021 finance act say about telecommunications Service providers?

Don't surprise to know that the finance act of 2021 maintain similar GST  exemptions for telecommunications companies as to previous years.  in previous years GST was levied on promotional calls or data, that exceed 10% of the total billable, and un billable call and data used, which was given to customers by the companies still remains the same.   Also a minimum market price of LE, 650 per minute was charged when making calls per minute in the past months or years.  the finance act 2021 make a fundamental change by removing the minimum market price of LE 650 per minute call. this year act gives telecommunications companies the free Will to set their own prices.

The Micromanage democracy!

This is Africa! where people intellect mean nothing, the voices of the electorate has nothing to do with political party ideology. It is crystal clear that Africa democracy is still in the verge of Micromanagement, where people are given no space to say what is in their minds. It is evident that we are still in the colonial era! But this time it has a new form which is the modern day slavery. My point is, if there is actually a 'democracy' governance system in Africa I am sure we could have gone pass this our current predicament. We are stock and block! No development no progress simply because of Micromanagement where our contribution means nothing. I'm of the belief that this will change if only we elect people of ideas Rather than clan men with no values, rather than cost to governance. African clergy men are really interesting, simply because, they can call political leaders to share their wisdom even if they know that they are village fouls. We will only be better of...

Half-century is an opportunity to hail social work's role in society's changes

It is 50 years since a unified profession of social work was established across the United Kingdom, and 50 years since the creation of integrated local authority personal social services in England and Wales. Before 1970 there were eight separate membership organisations for different specialist social workers, including child care officers, mental welfar...

The affirmation syndrome.

Do you believe in affirmation? Have you come across situations or instances were things happened base on affirmation? Firstly, let me share a real life situation about two brothers.  Samuel and Patrick are brothers of the same mother and father. They both grew up in the same  home, same community and they both attended the same school. Their community is highly perceived as toxic and struggle for survival is something else. Most of the people you can look up to as motivation are just below average. Samuel at his age 22,  has been able to discovered his real self of knowing what he wanted in life. He then started working harder day in day out, despite of his community he grew up were people celebrate average success. Few years down the line he was fortunate to get a scholarship to study in any university of his choice. However, he didn't move out from the the country  to further his studies. What he did was to select one of the colleges he could find around.  He ...

Wise up. Stay focus. Work hard. Believe.

It is said we are what we say we are, not base on words but our actions. 15 years from now we may be here in different dimensions.  All of the age and time you would have spent will speak for itself for good or bad.  Ja Ma, the founder of Alibaba, once said at the age of 17 to 29years, one must try any kind of job/skills in other to succeed.  He further went on to state that at the age of 30 you should and must have discovered the real you. At the age of 40 you should be able to have a trade for yourself. In this our era, that is full of obstacles, ranging from, myopic friends, witches and wizards , government stress, family issues, and lot more. With all of these we should not loose hope. The saddest things we could resolved into is to loose hope. One thing we should always try as best as we can is to wise up, and believe that with every hurdles there is away out and that way, is to keep on working harder, focus and believe, surely, success Will come. The day we forget o...
