Sierra Leone Poda Poda Wahala

One morning it was all over the news that vehicles that are not road worthy would be stop in plying the street of Freetown. Several views were had across places I visited, the majority were saying it would be just as usual! Which is mere announcement with no implementation.

As a Sierra Leonean that normally plied the street of Freetown including, west and central I want to bring to the notice of the Authorities that plenty vehicles that are plying the street of Freetown are not fit for purpose.

However, they are not ideal for human confort. If you are in these places:  Dwarzark, New England Ville, Tengbeh town, Murray town, Kingtom, trust me your live is not safe as compare to people that are staying in Lumbley and Aberdeen, The reason is so simple to justify.

When you see a vehicle from Dwarzak you will start smelling danger immediately you onboard in it. Places like Dwarzak, New england ville  most of there vehicles has no Key to start the vehicles.

Whenever, you enter there vehicles automatically you have become a pastor or Imam, in other to get to your destination.

In my sincerest plead, I want the authorities that are charged with such responsibilities to stand firm and protect the Lives of its citizens.

Secondly, I want the traffic police to work in the interest of the state rather than working in their own interest. If traffic police are actually doing their job I don't see any reason or reasons to still see majority of vehicles plying the street of the places I had mentioned.

Probably, the cause of Sierra Leonean valuable lives that Normally lost in  road accident is a a result of what I would refer to as "BOOKING". These days once the driver has booked no traffic Worden would asked the driver question.

Normally, it is that time you would hear driver telling passengers if you are not ready to go come down, in a situation where the passenger is saying something that would saved the lives of many.

Please let us respect the lives of every Sierra Leonean no matter it tribe, religion, region. Everyone lives is scared.
